For a great beer experience in Suffolk, look no further than Briarbank Brewing Company. Just moments from the historic waterfront in the heart of Ipswich, our tap room serves a range of craft beers from local breweries and those further afield.
You can also discover our very own Briarbank collection, brewed by the talented team at Chevallier Brewery in Diss. From rich stouts and crisp pale ales to IPAs and more, there’s something to delight every palate.
We’re proud to have won numerous awards over the years for our beers, with Suffolk Haze taking bronze in the Pale Ale category at the 2024 SIBA East Regional Bottle/Can Awards. Our Black Horse Stout has also won a national award
Sample our core range at the bar and soak in the welcoming atmosphere of our first floor tap room. We’re dog-friendly too, so there’s no need to leave your four legged friend behind.

Our first floor is open daily.
Open from midday until late on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and from 4pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Stocked with the full range of beers produced in our impressive ground floor brewery, as well as guest beers, an array of wines, spirits and soft drinks, the Briarbank Bar is the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon or evening with friends.
What’s more, we have a wide-ranging menu, including lighter dishes and pub classics.
We also run monthly quiz evenings on the third Thursday of the month, and live music on the last Friday of the month during the spring and summer months. Make sure you keep an eye on our social media channels for full details of what we have going on.
